What is a 'Content Guide'?

A content guide helps the development of clear and consistent content across committees, faculty, and staff. Please use it as a reference when you’re developing content for the School of Interactive Arts & Technology (SIAT).

There are three sections to this guide:

  1. Writing Principles
  2. Website Content Strategy
  3. Social Media Content Strategy

Where do I start?

If you are writing content for SIAT for the first time, it is a good idea to review the Writing Principles to make sure you are familiar with them before starting to write.

Developing content for the SIAT website or social media platforms requires you know the general strategies for those platforms, as well as the audience you are writing for. The Website Content Strategy details both general strategies and audience-specific strategies.

This is a living document

This means if you have any questions or concerns with any of the content you should email the SIAT Communications Chair to ask or address your concerns.
